No Fuss Barbecue Turkey Sloppy Joes
1 lb ground turkey meat (season with salt and pepper)
1 cup BBQ sauce
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped green or red bell pepper
In a large skillet over medium heat, brown and drain ground turkey meat, onions and peppers. Reduce heat to low and add barbecue sauce. Cover and simmer about 10 minutes.
Use an ice cream scoop to serve over whole-wheat hamburger buns and enjoy!
We usually have a side of herb roasted red potato wedges or carrot and celery sticks with blue cheese and ranch dressing.
